InbredboyJust another one of those animations sites filled with absolutely fantastic work while the site itself is also amazing in its animations, design and overall look. Looking at this site made me wish I’d stuck to drawing.
The funny thing however is that the design work on offer is also very ‘illustrated’. I suppose if one is good in, lets say, illustration that you would see that style and ability throughout their work. I think that for many creative souls the processes melt into one. Which means to me that a single facet like illustration is just part of the equation. Being able to come up with great and original solutions outweigh these design concerns by far. There are a few things that bother me somewhat. The work section shows a popup ‘like’ feature that lets you navigate and view the selected work. The style of this ‘popup’ seems to differ greatly from the rest of the “Inbredboy” site. Maybe this was done to have the “Inbredboy” style not interfere with the work on display. Personally I don’t see the need to do that. But seeing he is an Art Director I suppose he had his reasons. Maybe it was done later by someone else which sometimes can show in the final product. Who knows.
But that’s enough of me bitchin’ about nothing. Get your backside on over to his site, you won’t regret it.
